2011 Season preview

This July, Appalachian State University presents the 27th season of An Appalachian Summer Festival. Performances include k.d. lang, The Manhattan Transfer, African Children's Choir, Chita Rivera and Ben Vereen, the Aspen Santa Fe Ballet, the Eastern Festival Orchestra, and the return of the outdoor fireworks concert with Dierks Bentley.
