Outdoor Fireworks Concert with Dierks Bentley
Gates open at 6:30pm.
Electrifying, groundbreaking and powerful? Dierks Bentley is said to be all of those and more. Music grounded in tradition, with a dose of his one-of-a-kind musical flavor, has enabled Dierks to shatter the country music charts time and time again with hits such as "What Was I Thinkin'," "Lot of Leavin' Left to Do," "Come a Little Closer," "Every Mile a Memory" and "Feel That Fire." He has been nominated for dozens of awards, including Best Country Album for the 2008 & 2011 Grammy Awards, and was named Top New Artist at the 2003 Academy of Country Music Awards.
Since his debut album hit in 2003, Bentley has been mixing the traditional sounds of bluegrass with country music. No Depression magazine praised him for his role in bridging the roots world and the commercial mainstream. His latest album, Up on the Ridge, has been said to be his most artistically daring project yet. The all-acoustic album steeped in bluegrass roots is music that moved Bentley to be a country musician in the first place. The album features some of today's best traditional country vocalists such as Alison Krauss, Vince Gill, Miranda Lambert and Sonya Isaacs. Legendary bluegrass artists such as the Del McCoury Band and Sam Bush also lend their talents to this groundbreaking album.
