University Advancement was his home division for more than a decade. In his 32 years at the university\, he has held many leadership positions\, including serving as chief communications officer and founding director and chief curator of the Turchin Center for the Visual Arts\, where his research focus found its culmination in more than 200 exhibitions. Hank is a first-generation college student who earned a bachelor’s degree from the University of North Carolina Charlotte in 1986 and a master’s degree from Appalachian in 1995. \n			\n			\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n			\n			\n				\n				\n				\n				\n			\n				\n				\n			\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				Accommodations\nApp State is committed to providing an inclusive experience for individuals with disabilities.
