Complexions Contemporary Ballet explodes onto the stage with boundary-breaking artistry under visionaries Dwight Rhoden and Desmond Richardson. Raw athleticism meets sleek precision, where 16 powerful dancers command the stage with fierce grace and technical brilliance that’ll leave you breathless.
The program’s first half is comprised of rep spanning the company’s 32-year history, featuring Rhoden’s Imagine Joy (music by Beethoven and Barber), Honestly (Donny Hathaway), First Comes Love (David Rozenblatt), Amazing Grace (traditional), and an excerpt from Mercy (Hans Zimmer). The second half showcases Love Rocks, featuring seven of Grammy rock icon Lenny Kravitz’s biggest hits, including “I Belong to You,” “Fly Away,” “Here to Love,” and “Are You Gonna Go My Way.”

NIQUE is the official technique of Complexions Contemporary Ballet. Developed with a total body approach to training, this tusion of classical and contemporary-based dance methods is used to take a dancer to the next level through a series of fluid exercises constructed to build strength, stability and overall placement.
All dancers younger than 18 are required to have a parent/guardian onsite throughout the event.
