An Appalachian Summer Festival and App State Athletics present
Brad Paisley
with special guests Tigirlily Gold
Brad Paisley has earned his place in country music history as one of the genre’s most talented and decorated male solo artists. For more than 20 years, his songwriting and unmatched showmanship have won him numerous awards, including three GRAMMYs, two American Music Awards, 15 Academy of Country Music Awards, and 14 Country Music Association Awards, including a highly coveted Entertainer of the Year honor and recognition as the most successful CMA Award co-host in history, alongside Carrie Underwood, for 11 consecutive years. A member of the Grand Ole Opry since 2001, Paisley has written 21 of his 25 No. 1 hits, and in 2008 became the first artist to achieve 10 consecutive Billboard Country Airplay No. 1 singles. The superstar’s past works have amassed nearly five billion career streams.
Brad recently released the first four songs off his upcoming album Son of the Mountains together for the first time with Son of the Mountains: The First Four Tracks. The project includes the previously released tracks “Same Here,” featuring Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, and “So Many Summers,” plus the newly released title track “Son of the Mountains” and “The Medicine Will.” The full studio album is anticipated for release in early 2024.
Paisley’s additional endeavors include his new “American Highway” Bourbon, his collaborations with Peyton Manning on the national Nationwide insurance ad campaigns, and his partnership with Boot Barn® to develop “Moonshine Spirit by Brad Paisley,” an exclusive line of jeans, hats, T-shirts, jewelry, belts and woven shirts.

About Tigirlily Gold
Sister duo Tigirlily Gold has been playing music together since they could walk, and officially formed their band in high school. Growing up, they crisscrossed the mid-west, growing a fierce fan base and selling out amphitheaters across their home state of North Dakota. After moving to Nashville, they landed a weekly residence at Dierks Bentley’s Whiskey Row on Nashville’s famed lower Broadway. Playing four-hour sets, three to four nights a week, the sisters developed a performance style that’s not only captivating and fun but shows just how much entertaining is in their blood.
After releasing their original song “Somebody Does,” in 2021, the track topped the iTunes chart and Tigirlily Gold was signed to Monument Records. They released their self-titled, debut EP in July 2021, working with multi-Grammy Award winner Shane McAnally, and hit the road with artists Walker Hayes and Ashley McBryde.
Now, the powerhouse duo has embarked on a new musical chapter with their EP, Blonde — a deeply personal project that includes tales of love and loss alongside powerful anthems and songs of female empowerment. Their debut single at country radio, “Shoot Tequila,” reached the Top 40 and found viral success with millions of views across social media, and millions of streams across platforms. Their much anticipated follow up single “I Tried a Ring On” will hit airwaves at the top of 2024. After making their Grand Ole Opry debut and performing to a national audience on Today, Tigirlily Gold is ready to bring girl group energy back to country music.
